As a community artist, I have taken a leading role in several community-building projects or events:
Other kinds of community arts gatherings I have hosted are Mask making, Ukrainian Egg making, Tie-dyeing, Earthworks art, Shawl making, Face and Body painting, Dream Pantomiming, Drumming and Song Circles, Clay working, Dance and Movement, Beading, Bardic Story Circles, Life Rites of Passage gatherings, Memorials, Peace and Healing Circles, and SoulCollage™, offered through SoulStudio Arts.
When people get together to create or share something, despite fears and old destructive messages, there is ultimately surprise, excitement, pride and fellowship. And it's fun!
